Production Team

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sewing Production Operative to join our production team. This post offers a fantastic opportunity to expand on hands-on experience and hone skills in sewing and textile manufacturing.

Sewing large panels of thin materials, bartack, seam-seal, twin needle, walking foot.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the production of high-quality backpacking and expedition tents.
  • Joining panels with lap seam and flat seam using twin needle.
  • Operating sewing machines and other related equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient workflow.
  • Assisting in the inspection and quality control of finished products to meet Terra Nova Equipment’s standards.
  • Collaborating with the manufacturing team to ensure efficient production processes.
  • Actively participating in training programs and workshops to enhance sewing skills and knowledge.
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations and following established company policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrating a positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow as a sewing professional.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in sewing on industrial sewing machine required.
  • Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Committed to maintaining high standards of workmanship and product quality.

Some training in particular processes will be provided. Small team environment and friendly atmosphere. Supportive leadership and free tea/coffee!

E-Commerce Manager

  • Sales Team

The E-Commerce Manager will drive the growth and success of Terra Nova Equipment's online sales channels and support the e-commerce strategy for YourSchoolUniform.com, a business within the Terra Nova holding company (Hubaco Ltd). This role will focus on optimizing user experience, managing digital sales platforms, and executing strategies that maximize revenue, profitability, and brand visibility across Terra Nova Equipment's brands (Terra Nova, Wild Country, Extremities) and YourSchoolUniform.com.

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Develop and implement e-commerce strategies aligned with Terra Nova and YourSchoolUniform.com’s overall business goals.
  • Work closely with the Group Marketing Manager to integrate e-commerce strategies with broader marketing campaigns and B2B objectives.
  • Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.

Website Management

  • Oversee the performance and optimization of e-commerce websites, ensuring seamless functionality, quick load times, and mobile-first design principles.
  • Lead website enhancements to improve user experience (UX) and customer journey.
  • Manage product listings, categorization, and content to ensure accuracy and appeal.

Digital Marketing & Sales Growth

  • Develop and execute targeted digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media advertising, to drive traffic and sales.
  • Optimize product pages for search engines and monitor website analytics to improve conversions and sales performance.
  • Collaborate with the content and creative teams to produce engaging promotional materials.

Operations & Inventory

  • Work with supply chain and operations teams to ensure accurate stock levels and timely order fulfilment.
  • Manage the integration of e-commerce with ERP and CRM systems to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

Customer Experience & Support

  • Monitor and improve customer service channels, ensuring timely and professional resolution of online customer inquiries.
  • Implement feedback mechanisms to continuously improve the online shopping experience.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports on e-commerce performance, customer acquisition, retention, and profitability.
  • Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and future strategies.

Collaboration

  • Coordinate with sales, product, and marketing teams to maintain consistent branding and messaging across all platforms.
  • Support YourSchoolUniform.com’s unique requirements by tailoring e-commerce strategies to its audience and market needs.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • E-Commerce Expertise: Proven track record of managing and growing e-commerce platforms, ideally within the outdoor retail or education sectors.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento), Google Analytics, and digital marketing tools.
  • Marketing Knowledge: Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media advertising.
  • Analytical Abilities: Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • UX/UI Focus: Experience in improving website design and customer journey for increased conversions.
  • Project Management: Skilled in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in both B2C and B2B e-commerce operations.
  • Familiarity with the outdoor retail or school uniform markets.
  • Knowledge of ERP and CRM systems integration.
